The Hildebrandt's - Sonoma County Maternity Photographer

Nerves.  Excitement.  Anticipation.  Newness.  All rolled into one.  Combined into two new parents anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first born.  A child that has been dreamed about for decades, a child that is the result of a beautiful marriage, a child that will be welcomed into a family full of love and nothing but love.

My parents and I just returned from a long weekend in Carlsbad/San Diego visiting my sister and her husband.  We were there for a very important reason and decided to take a few photos at the Hotel Del in Coronado to remember the special place and time.

These images were taken the day after my sister's birthday.  And her perfect birthday gift, finding out that her little one is going to be a little girl.  These two, and their daughter due in March, will be gracing my blog alot in the future as I give what I do best, capture the in-between moments.

My beautiful sister, celebrating her and her future daughter.  As a former babysittter, nanny and elementary school teacher for 9 years, my sister was born to be a mother.  You can feel the excitement in the air.

Alicia and Geoff...you both mean the world to me.  Words cannot express how happy we are for the two of you.  I cannot wait to get your little girl in front of my camera (well, I can wait, I want her to be nice and healthy first!)  She is so loved, as are both of you.  Enjoy this time, it is precious.  xoxo
