The {R} Wedding Reception - Sebastopol Wedding Photographer

The image above and below just melt my heart...they are my new favorites. Ever.

But, you are guaranteed to capture a lot of favorite images with a good lookin' couple in the vineyard during their wedding reception.

A few details of the formal dances, an intimate special time between important family members, and, of course, the bride and groom.

Mr. and Mrs. {R} - Words truly cannot express how thankful I was to be a part of your wedding day.  My hope is that your images will forever hold the emotions, the joy and the love of the day that you became man and wife.  You are a beautiful couple, with amazing individual spirits. And together you are stronger, happier and even more amazing.  I wish you nothing but the best, you each deserve it more than anything.

    xoxo

The {R} Wedding Reception - Sebastopol Wedding Photographer

A team effort helped to make the {R} wedding reception just as special and unique as the wedding ceremony.  From the local musicians playing, to the family members tending bar, to the family friend who made their wedding cake; the {R} wedding reception was full of love and personal touches.  And, those personal touches just made their wedding day even more special.

This sign at the bar made me laugh hysterically...love a little educator humor :)

The toasts were so emotional and so personal...I found myself getting wrapped up in the detailed speeches that I kept forgetting about my 'job' of taking photos :)  After several of the scheduled speeches, there was an 'open mic' and so many co-workers, friends and family members shared stories of love and encouragement for the married couple.

The cake cutting looked nice and lovin' at first...

    but quickly turned downhill...

but ended with a cake-smeared kiss...

Having lots of kiddos at the event was very important to the bride and groom, and they provided so many great photo opportunities throughout the day.  During the first dance, I was delighted to look over and see them all lined up with the blankets on the lawn.  Awwww...too cute!

What a good looking sibling set...honestly, I can just feel the love looking at this image.

One more wedding post of formal pictures coming later this week!
