Miss B - Windsor Senior Portrait Photographer

In an attempt to catch up with the dozens of sessions that I have yet to blog, I will be posting in non-chronological order based on what my mood is.  Tonight, I am in the mood for a little high school senior showcasing.

Miss B was a lovely young lady and I had a nice evening walking around Julliard Park with her and her mom.  She is full of innocent dreams for the future, just as a senior in high school should be.

And her eyelashes are phenomenal :)

    Favorite...

     Another favorite...

Ahhh....this makes me miss the fall colors...

I don't have the opportunity to photography many senior sessions, but when I do have the opportunity I always walk away wishing that I had more high schoolers in front of my camera.  They are so fun, and carefree, plus it always brings me back to my high school days :)

Miss {A} - Windsor Senior Portrait Photographer

    Meet Miss {A}...

Another Windsor high school Senior Class of 2011 in front of my camera.

Another session that we worked around the weather to complete in time for the yearbook deadline.  But, boy, oh boy, it was worth the wait.

With three older sisters, Miss {A} is full of personality and wisdom beyond her years.

Her style is impeccable and her beauty is evident in every direction.

Fall colors make my heart happy...

and so do the unique eclectic elements of Railroad Square in Santa Rosa.

Miss {A} - Thank you for your patience with the weather, I hope that you agree that it was all worth the wait.  You were a joy to walk around with, as was your family.  I wish you the best during the last few months of your Senior year.  Enjoy each moment - it goes by fast!

    xoxo

Miss {J} - Windsor Senior Portrait Photographer

It is definitely the time of year for Senior portraits and another inspiring Senior will grace the blog tonight.

    Meet Miss {J}...

She is one of those young ladies who makes me tired just listening to her schedule...

    8 classes...

    Swimming...

    Basketball...

and a part-time job just to name a few of her commitments.

    (Love these little in-between moments...)

I was beyond excited when {J} pulled out her letterman jacket - how much fun!

One of her older sisters, her mom and her dad (and the family dog pictured previously) joined us for the first part of the session.  And her mom asked her to hop up in this tree...so, I cannot take 'creative' credit for the following photo :)

Next we headed to downtown Santa Rosa for another style of images...

Miss {J} and her older sister did a great job with her (many) outfits - a lot of variety of colors and textures which us photographers enjoy.  Plus, she added her own style to each outfit to make everything more personal, plus she was comfortable which always make for a more natural photograph.

Railroad Square is such a fun and versatile place to photograph...there is always a little something for everyone.  And, when your subject is as cute as a button is makes everything even better :)

Love love love the following image..

Miss {J} - Thank you for spending the afternoon with me, I had a great time laughing with you.  You have grown into an admirable young adult and I know that only great things are in store for you.  I wish you the best of luck with the remaining days of your senior year and I cannot wait to admire your future accomplishments.  xoxo

Mr {A} - Windsor Senior Portrait Photographer

Another senior session to blog about this morning - this time with a fun-loving football-playing Windsor High School Jaguar student Mr. {A}.  We dodged the rain drops and ran around Railroad Square capturing images of Mr. {A} plus we added in his mom and girlfriend for a few pictures as well.  It is always fun to grab the bystanders and put them in front of the camera as well.

I love the variety of shooting locations at Railroad Square...there is a little something for everyone.
